2006 03 11 - Lenk

We’ve not been back to Lenk since November when we enjoyed some pre-season weekend skiing.
Snow conditions are excellent as expected, it’s been snowing for ages now and despite some slighter higher temperatures mid-week the snow’s just been steadily accumulating.
We were skiing in the Walleg area of Lenk which is great on days like today. There’s gondala from the car park which takes you a long way up with a few runs back down through the trees where the visibilty is better.
It’s skiing like you’d expect, there’s loose snow and powder on and near the pistes and some great easy powder skiing in breaks in the trees. It snowed steadily all day and it getting pretty heavy as we were driving home. In fact, it looks good for tomorrow.
