2006 03 18 - Saanen

We were going to Saanemöser but the car park was actually full, I’ve never seen that before. There was a race on at Zweisemmen which I’d have liked to have seen.
So, we went round to Sannen where the car park was also full before ending up at Eggli. Despite the number of cars it wasn’t too busy on the slopes and there was certainly no queues. I think the combination of the race and fine weather had bought people out in high numbers.
And, it was nice day, sunshine and temperatures around freezing, just the right weather to sit outside at lunch.
The beauty of parking at Eggli is you can take the long black down again which is excellent fun, it’s hard pack and tending to ice in a few places so it’s very fast
