La Lecherette

La Lecherette is a tiny ski station on the Col des Mosses in the Vaud, I’ve never personally skied there but I have skied at the station of Les Mosses which is a couple of km away. There a lake nearby between La Lecherette and Rochers de Naye that I was interested to take a look at.

La Lecherette is a small village with a couple of lifts in the winter and this time of year not a lot is going on!

There’s a local army facility used for training and they sometimes have live firing exercises nearby but it was all deserted today so we set off round the Lac de l’Hongrin in safety.

The barrage itself is quite impressive and there’s some signs up with loads of facts and figures that I’ve now forgotten.
