Col des Mosses

There was some fantastic autumn weather over the weekend so we went up to the col des Mosses for a walk. The route was fairly simple, to leave La Lécherette and walk up on side of the pass before crossing at Les Mosses and climbing up to the top of the La Lécherette ski station and descending to the village.

[...] From this point we were heading for Pra Cornet 1646m, we’d passed Pra Cornet a few weeks back (Col des Mosses) and the plan was to reach the col and descend back to Les Mosses. By this time it was late afternoon and there was some great sunshine. We paused at the cross country ski hut at Pra Cornet to finish our coffee and headed down. Although the sun has melted the snow a bit you can see some tracks where some people must have tried the cross country loipes during the week. [...]
