It started off with clear skies and sunshine this morning although the cloud had moved in by the end of the day as forecast. Not all the domain was open here or at Grimentz as avalanche safety work was performed and some pistes not previously opened were prepared.

It’s been fairly cold although the wind that’s been present for the last couple of days has dropped.

Avalanche risk was 4 today but some of the more accessible slopes were skiing OK although the action of the wind has left some rocks close to the surface and waist deep powder in other places.
