Things are back to normal now and it’s nice and quiet again, the queue to get on the cable car has gone and slopes are empty.

It’s actually worryingly warm at altitude and the snow was noticeably softening this afternoon, although it’s bad news for the snow cover it’s very nice skiing.

The run down to the village opened a day or so ago I think but I’ve been at St Luc and Grimentz for the last couple of days and this was the first time we’d skied it this season, and it was excellent. It’s an extremely steep black run and not for the faint hearted really.
