A day in Grimentz to ski with Bandit and her partner Andy. On first sight the snow cover wasn’t very good but the cold temperatures have preserved conditions and there’s some great skiing. The photograph is the start of the Abondance itinerary above Grimentz, it’s a dramatic entrance but nothing like as bad as it looks, in fact it was so good I did it twice.

Some intriguing views from the Roc d’Orxival into the across to La Brinta, this looks great skiing, there’s a tour in the Ski Alpin Bas Valais CAS guide down there actually.
