Zinal, Christmas Eve

There was some pretty nice light around midday from the top of the Sorebois highlighting the partly frozen Lac de Moiry, there’s been some fairly major wind transport on the snow at the top and it’s a bit bit bare and rocky.
It’s still pretty quiet in the village and there’s no queues for the lifts or crowding on the slopes, next week will probably be a lot busier though I expect
We had a few runs on the hard packed pistes and a couple of quick runs into some remaining powder but it’s getting hard to find much untracked good snow.
A great shot of Neil about to enter the (closed) freeride area with the Bishorn, Weishorn and Zinarothorn etc in the background.
