International Mountain Leader (IML) Training, Glenmore Lodge

I’ve just got back from Glenmore Lodge in Scotland where I’ve been doing IML Summer Training. Summer wasn’t really quite the right word though and there was a fair amount of snow around although the wind was the most pronounced feature on the days we spent on the mountain.
It’s a small group of 5 IML aspirants, on this photo’ from left, Kevin Rutherford (Ecosse Mountains), Colin Cameron, Phil James (HikePyrenees) and Jorge Ortega with his back to the camera.
As expected the training was a good coverage of things some or all of us had some familiarity with along with either new areas or more depth to the things we already have. From here we’ll either go for summer assessment or (in my case) winter training both held in the Alps.
