Go Ape

Go Ape, Sherwood ForestGo Ape, Sherwood Forest

On a recent trip to the UK I’d promised I’d go out for the day with my niece Amy. When the day came I’d not really got a plan other than an idea that there would be an activity that both of enjoyed equally as we’re quite similar in a lot of ways although I obviously have the looks!

I happened to look at a photo’ on a website that showed a high rope course and realised I’d struck paydirt, there was a course nearby run by Go Ape who have 16 such centres around the UK. It turned out to be a fantastic couple of hours, obviously you need a head for heights and to be able to trust the safety equipment but I’ve spent enough of my life hung around on mountains in harnesses so it’s not a big deal for me but the flying through the air on zip lines is just fantastic fun.

I really recommend it to anyone looking for an adventurous day out.
