I keep a bit of list of the climbing or alpine gear I have, mostly so I know the weight of various items. This is really an excerpt of a spreadsheet I have that I use to quickly add up the weight I’m likely to be carrying, that spreadsheet gives the percentage of the total weight any item represents.
