Another walk at the Stockhorn, there seemed to be some sort of angling competition and the car park was packed. As we were taking a fairly short route round the ridges we had the time to try the restaurant at the top of the Stockhorn which turned out to be excellent.

It’s claimed you can see 200 mountain peaks from the top of the Stockhorn. But there was some cloud so the view was slightly restricted. The Stockhorn is reached from the lift leaving the village of “Erlenbach im Simmental” somewhere I drive past from time to time in the winter but I’d never stopped to have a closer look.
